Dr. Tudor Marinescu, Cranial OsteopathyTudor C. Marinescu, MD, PhD, a leading Santa Monica holistic family medicine physician in the fields of natural integral and preventive medicine, is now serving the Ojai community.

Dr. Marinescu began his training as a medical doctor in Romania, graduated at the top of his class from J.W. Goethe University School of Medicine in Frankfurt, Germany and completed a Ph.D. in medicine from the H. Heine University in Germany. He came to the U.S for advanced training in 1995 and completed a one year research fellowship in orthopedic surgery and a surgical internship at UCLA. He continued his post-graduate training with a 3-year family medicine residency at USC.

In addition to licensing in allopathic medicine, Dr. Marinescu has credentials in cranial and biodynamic osteopathy, prolotherapy, energy medicine, herbal cures, vibrational healing including sound therapy as well as traditional indigenous healing methods. His main areas of practice are: acute and chronic somatic pain, pediatric problems, acute and chronic inflammatory and infectious disorders, dental problems, and preventive medicine.

The initial visit is 90 minutes and includes a comprehensive medical history and assessment – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. If deemed necessary, functional medicine laboratory testing may be done to identify nutritional needs, metabolic efficiency, neuro-endocrine potential, toxic accumulations and the function of different organ systems. His main treatment modalities include cranial biodynamic osteopathic manual medicine, embryologic matrix technique, herbal cleanses and detoxifications, prolotherapy, energy medicine, vibrational medicine and sound healing.
