I am a Classical Homeopath in my fourteenth year of practice. After working in Europe , I am now settled in beautiful Ojai. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist (CA#8423) with a Master’s Degree in Psychology, practicing classical Chinese medicine--custom herbal prescriptions and gentle acupuncture. I have the largest herb dispensary in Ventura County, stocking more than 1,000 herbs and products, and I integrate herbs from other traditions (Ayurvedic, Tibetan, Native American, European). My specialties are in problems of mid and later years, psychoemotional challenges, skin conditions and problems of children, though I treat a wide range of conditions such as pain, menstrual and menopausal problems and colds and flu. I treat many complex conditions, often those which have not responded to other forms of treatment.
Tudor C. Marinescu, MD, PhD, a leading Santa Monica holistic family medicine physician in the fields of natural integral and preventive medicine, is now serving the Ojai community.
Dr. Marinescu began his training as a medical doctor in Romania, graduated at the top of his class from J.W. Goethe University School of Medicine in Frankfurt, Germany and completed a Ph.D. in medicine from the H. Heine University in Germany. He came to the U.S for advanced training in 1995 and completed a one year research fellowship in orthopedic surgery and a surgical internship at UCLA. He continued his post-graduate training with a 3-year family medicine residency at USC.
Dr. Edie Resto is a Chiropractor, Naturopathic Doctor and educator dedicated to forming healing partnerships with her patients. She is a graduate of the Institute of Psychostructural Balancing where she studied a variety of massage and bodywork techniques. Dr. Edie is also a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West and Bastyr University, which is the leading Naturopathic medical school in the U.S. She integrates many different modalities for a powerful healing experience.
